The UsitawiNetwork Foundation
The UsitawiNetwork Foundation was founded in 2002. The Foundation is registered in the commercial register of the Canton of Berne (Switzerland) and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Swiss Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations. As a registered charitable organization, it has been granted tax exemption.
The Foundation serves to establish The UsitawiNetwork as an international service club, to disseminate the concept of sustain-ability and to support projects worldwide in the area of sustainable development.
The UsitawiNetwork Foundation retains all legal rights associated with The Usitawi-Network as an organization, and gives local clubs permission to use any and all distinguishing insignia that represent the organization.
The foundation administers all assets result-ing either from gifts from patrons and donors or contributions and donations from members, in order to safeguard The Usitawi-Network's activities in the long term. Proceeds will be used to support Usitawi-Network projects and those of third parties.
