The local clubs

Local clubs form the basis of The UsitawiNetwork. These clubs commit themselves to comply with the umbrella organisation’s principles and overall objectives.

The local clubs develop their own programmes within the framework and guidelines provided by UsitawiNetwork.

The local clubs undertake their activities and projects either individually or jointly with other clubs, aligning these with local needs and with UsitawiNetwork’s overall objectives. Local clubs can also engage in projects undertaken by the umbrella organisation.

Ideally, local clubs should have 50 members and no more than 70. Members should represent as many professions as possible.

Weekly meetings and special events serve to promote friendship, cooperation, and dialogue.

The first local clubs were established in Berne, Basel, and Zurich. Several other clubs are currently being formed.
